OPT11 - Amelia Earhart - Dressed to Fly - in this glass
luminary of her pilots license photo, #6017, in 1923.
Being overall 5 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches high, this
luminary has a 4 inch diameter disc of 1/8 inch thick
glass, sandcarved with the image of her photo. Her
original pilot license is permanently housed at the
Museum of Women Pilots in Oklahoma City.
The glass is mounted on a stone base being held in
place by a custom designed bracket, produced by
3D printing. The glass and its image can be
illuminated from behind by a bright 4 lamp LED light
(included) which is powered by 3 AAA batteries
(not included). This luminary makes a great night
light or a light source to brighten a darker corner
of your bookshelf.
